In 1735, twenty-seven people settled in the Warren area and the first meeting house was built.  

In 1793, a new meeting house was raised in the heart of Warren (now known as the memorial park).

In 1795, a Congregational Council was called for the purpose of organizing a church and ordaining a pastor.

The Second Congregational Church of Warren was organized on February 27, 1828 with 23 members.  The parish was organized September 4, 1829.

In 1833, the present meeting house sanctuary was dedicated.

In 1878, the chapel was built (which is the west wing).
